Exhibition Description
World of Threads Festival is pleased to include the final graduate show of the BA (Hons) Embroidered Textiles programme validated by Middlesex University in the United Kingdom. The show presents work from ten artists, based in Canada, Germany and the UK.
A vibrant and engaging degree show has been produced, particularly reflecting the international composition of the group. A diversity of issues is addressed including memory, identity, landscape, process and image, all provoking thought and discussion. The fine art textiles on display take many and varied forms, from sculpture and installation to hangings and framed works.
